Kansas City Chiefs Single Game Tickets

Lamar Hunt founded the franchise as the Dallas Texans, an American Football League charter member that first played in 1960. The club moved to Kansas City in 1963 and became the Chiefs. Under original coach Hank Stram, the team won three AFL championships (1962, 1966 and 1969), lost Super Bowl I to Green Bay and then beat Minnesota in Super Bowl IV.

The long wait for a second title ended in the Andy Reid era. Reid took over in 2013, and with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback the Chiefs won Super Bowls LIV, LVII and LVIII, while losing LV and LIX. That run included nine straight AFC West titles.

The streak ended in 2025. Kansas City finished 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, and Mahomes tore his ACL in a December loss to the Chargers.

Arrowhead Stadium opened in 1972 at the Truman Sports Complex in Kansas City, Missouri, where it shares a campus and parking with the Royals' Kauffman Stadium. It is open-air and seats about 76,000. The building carried the GEHA Field name from 2021, but the Chiefs and GEHA announced on August 5, 2026 that the original Arrowhead Stadium name returns starting with the 2026 season. The Chiefs plan to leave after the 2030 season for a new domed stadium in Wyandotte County, Kansas, which the team says will open for the 2031 season.

Arrowhead sits at the junction of Interstates 70 and 435, east of downtown, and most fans arrive by car. Public transit service to the complex is limited, so check KCATA before relying on a bus. Rideshare is an option; confirm the current drop-off and pickup area on the stadium site, since traffic leaving the complex can back up after games.

Parking at the Truman Sports Complex is sold as digital passes in advance, and passes are tied to specific lot colors. Tailgating is allowed in every lot and is a big part of Chiefs game days, with rules that keep setups within a set distance behind each space and emergency lanes clear. For a short window after the lots open, fans can choose spaces together in certain lots before attendants begin directing traffic.

Tickets are mobile and live in the Chiefs app, and parking passes can be saved to your phone's wallet. The NFL clear-bag policy applies, and access to the complex is limited to ticketed guests. Gate and lot opening times can change by game, so check the Arrowhead Stadium site ahead of kickoff.

Arrowhead is a three-tier bowl. The 100 level surrounds the field, the 200 level is a club ring that runs all the way around the stadium with indoor lounges, and the 300 level is a steep upper deck that keeps fans close to the action. Arrowhead is known for crowd noise, and the stadium has no roof, so sound and weather both reach every level.

Because the club level wraps the bowl, club seats are available in the corners and end zones as well as at midfield. Lower-level sideline seats give the closest view of the benches, while upper-deck sideline seats show the whole field.

Games against Denver, Las Vegas and the Chargers, prime-time matchups and anything with playoff stakes tend to draw the strongest demand. December games bring cold weather, so upper-deck and end-zone sections are worth comparing against the club ring on the seat map.
