About the Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles began play in the NFL in 1933. They won NFL championships in 1948, 1949, and 1960, and spent decades at Franklin Field and then Veterans Stadium before moving into Lincoln Financial Field in 2003.

Philadelphia's first Super Bowl title came in Super Bowl LII after the 2017 season, a win over the New England Patriots. Under head coach Nick Sirianni, the Eagles won Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans. Quarterback Jalen Hurts was named MVP.

In 2025 the Eagles went 11-6 and repeated as NFC East champions, the first team in the division to do so since the 2004 Eagles. They lost to San Francisco in the Wild Card round, and Seattle went on to win Super Bowl LX over New England. Sirianni remains head coach for 2026.

The Philadelphia Eagles play in the NFC East with the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Giants, and the Washington Commanders.

Lincoln Financial Field guide

Lincoln Financial Field, known locally as the Linc, sits in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex on Pattison Avenue, alongside the city's baseball, basketball, and hockey venues. It opened in 2003 as the replacement for Veterans Stadium and seats about 67,600 for football. The stadium is open-air with no roof. Temple University also plays its home football games there. The Linc was a 2026 FIFA World Cup venue.

Getting to Lincoln Financial Field

SEPTA's Broad Street subway line runs straight from Center City to NRG Station at the Sports Complex, the last southbound stop, a short walk from the stadium. SEPTA bus routes also serve the complex. Riding the subway avoids the traffic that builds on I-95 and Broad Street before games, and many fans park farther north and ride in.

Parking

The Sports Complex lots around the Linc are shared with the neighboring arenas and ballpark. Eagles parking permits are sold in advance, and the venue is cashless, so do not plan on paying with cash on game day. Tailgating is allowed in most lots and is a big part of an Eagles Sunday, though some lots are posted as no-tailgating areas.

Arrival and entry

Eagles tickets are mobile, so have them loaded in the team's ticketing app before you walk up. The NFL clear-bag policy applies, and reserved lots may include vehicle inspections under league security rules. Give yourself time to clear security, then check the Lincoln Financial Field and Eagles websites for gate opening times on your date.

Seating tips at Lincoln Financial Field

The Linc has a lower bowl, two club levels, and an upper deck. The clubs are split by side: the Hyundai Club on the west side and the Tork Club on the east side, with about 10,800 club seats in total. The stadium also has 172 suites.

With no roof, weather is part of the ticket from November on. Lower-level sideline seats a few rows up give a better sightline across the field than the front rows. Upper-deck sideline sections are steep but keep you close to midfield, and end zone seats give a head-on view of red-zone plays.

Buying Philadelphia Eagles tickets on TixBit

Games against the Cowboys, Giants, and Commanders are the toughest tickets at the Linc, and prime-time home games draw close behind. Compare upper-deck sideline sections with lower-level end zone seats on the seat map, since the views differ more than the level alone suggests. Check the listing quantity and seat notes if you need seats together. Never fees for buyers.
