Why buyers search Knicks-Spurs Christmas tickets now
NBA.com described Christmas noon at the Garden as a rematch of the 2026 NBA Finals and the start of the five-game holiday slate. That is league context for demand, not a price forecast. NBA on Christmas Day 2026-27
That combination is enough to create ticket searches:
- Finals rematch at MSG. Buyers looking for Wembanyama versus the defending champion Knicks need December 25 in New York, not a later San Antonio home date.
- Christmas Day noon window. An early ABC/ESPN tip shortens same-morning mobile-transfer time. Confirm delivery before you travel.
- Five-game holiday slate opener. Search results mix this game with later Christmas NBA dates and with the Knicks' Opening Night listing. Match the Spurs event.
A Christmas label does not change how tickets work. You still need the correct event, disclosed seats, a delivery method you can complete, and the full amount shown before payment.
Sporting News reported an $800 StubHub get-in for this game as of that Christmas ticket piece, with 100-level and riser quotes listed there too. That get-in was current only as of that article. How to buy Spurs at Knicks Christmas Day tickets
Use this checklist on TixBit or any other marketplace you compare.
- Match the exact event. San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks. Friday, December 25, 2026. 12:00 p.m. ET. Madison Square Garden, New York, NY. Open the live Christmas Day event page rather than Opening Night or a later Knicks home game.
- Confirm it is a game ticket. Skip parking, watch parties, and hospitality add-ons unless that is what you intend to buy.
- Read the seats that are shown. Check quantity, section, row, seat numbers, and any view or age restriction on the listing. What you see is what you get: real seats, real sections, no phantom rows.
- Check delivery. Mobile transfer can require an account and an accepted transfer in the primary issuer's app. Accept the transfer before you travel to the Garden.
- Compare the amount shown before payment. On TixBit there are never fees for buyers. What you see is what you pay. That is not a claim that TixBit is always the lowest total. If you check another site, match the same section, row, quantity, restrictions, and delivery, then compare the final disclosed totals.
A no-fee label does not settle the price question. Our ticket resale fee comparison explains how to compare the payable total across marketplaces.

What to check on a Madison Square Garden listing
Madison Square Garden is listed on TixBit at Madison Square Garden, New York. Use that venue page when you want the building's upcoming events. Use the Christmas Day event page when you want this specific Spurs game.
Before you pay, confirm:
- Venue name: Madison Square Garden in New York, not a different Manhattan building and not Frost Bank Center in San Antonio.
- Date: December 25 is Christmas Day. October 20 is Opening Night versus the 76ers.
- Section map: A generic NBA chart is not enough. Use the seat map on the event page.
- Row and seat disclosure: If a listing hides the row, treat it as a different product from a fully disclosed seat.
- Quantity: Compare the order total for the number of tickets you need, not a single-seat headline.
- Restrictions: Limited view, standing room, club access, and age rules belong in the listing details, not in a later surprise.
Browse all events only if you still need to find the game. Once you have it, stay on the event page until checkout.
