Definition
A presale gives a specific group, such as fan club members, credit card holders, or venue subscribers, a chance to buy tickets before the public on-sale. Inventory can be limited, and presale access does not guarantee the best seats, but it can improve your odds.
Examples
- “The artist presale opened on Wednesday, two days before the public sale.”
- “A presale code gets you into the early sale window, but it does not promise every section will be available.”
