When to buy San Diego event tickets

San Diego's calendar mixes several seasons. Padres home games at Petco Park, SDSU football and San Diego FC and Wave FC matches at Snapdragon Stadium, and San Diego Gulls hockey at Pechanga Arena all run on their own schedules. Open the team page for the current home dates before planning a trip.

Outdoor music is seasonal. Humphreys Concerts by the Bay generally runs from April through October, and the San Diego Symphony performs at both The Rady Shell and Jacobs Music Center. The Holiday Bowl has been held at Snapdragon Stadium since 2024.

Pechanga Arena sits on the Sports Arena site covered by the Midway Rising plan. The city's redevelopment proposal includes replacing the existing arena with a new entertainment arena. That proposal is not a notice that Pechanga Arena has closed. No fees for buyers.
