Seating at Lyceum Theatre

The Lyceum has 937 seats in the Stalls, 648 in the Royal Circle, 582 in the Grand Circle and 18 in private boxes. The Royal Circle sits above the Stalls, with the Grand Circle above it. The seating plan identifies seats by row and position.

The center Stalls around a third of the way back offer a clear view of the stage, and outer row R seats have extra legroom. The outer edges of the front Stalls lose the extreme corners of the stage on the same side. At the front of the Grand Circle, the safety rail can partially obscure the view.

Boxes hold parties of 2, 3 or 4 and have a restricted view. Boxes E and K are close to the stage. The Lion King's official booking plan highlights restricted views and offers a View from Seat feature.

The Lyceum's doors open 90 minutes before the show, and the Ballroom Bar opens at the same time. The Lion King recommends arriving at least 60 minutes before the start for security checks. Late admission varies by show, but latecomers can usually enter at a suitable gap in the performance.

Four licensed bars serve the theatre, including the Ballroom Bar, and drinks and snacks can be pre-ordered to your seat. Cold food in a plastic container is allowed. Drinks in the Stalls and the front rows of the Royal and Grand Circles must be in plastic containers. Merchandise kiosks take cards only.

The main entrance is up three steps. The level-access entrance is to the left of the five main doors on Wellington Street and leads to the Stalls and accessible toilets. There are six wheelchair spaces in the Stalls. Lifts to the upper levels are reached from Exeter Street, but the Royal Circle and Grand Circle still have steps inside the auditorium. Signed, captioned, audio-described and relaxed performances are scheduled through the year.
