How to choose seats at Portland concert venues

Moda Center changes size with the show. Its listed capacity is about 15,000 for an end-stage setup and about 20,500 for a center stage. The "Theatre of the Clouds" setup, for smaller shows, is listed at about 6,500. Check the seating map for your date to see which setup is in use.

The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall has 2,776 seats split between the orchestra level and the balcony. Keller Auditorium has 2,992 seats, or 3,034 with pit seats. Compare the level and section on each listing.

Roseland Theater has a standing-only main floor and an upstairs balcony for patrons 21 or older, so choose the balcony only if you meet the age rule. Wonder Ballroom is standing room with an open floor. Revolution Hall has 850 seats, and the original wooden seats from the school auditorium were kept.

When to buy Portland concert tickets

Moda Center shares its calendar with the Portland Trail Blazers, and Veterans Memorial Coliseum is the home arena of the Portland Winterhawks. Compare concert dates with the calendars for these two Rose Quarter arenas before planning your trip.

The Schnitz is the home of the Oregon Symphony, and Keller Auditorium hosts Portland Opera, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and touring Broadway shows. Symphony and film-with-orchestra nights can sit alongside pop and rock dates in the same list.

Portland's smaller rooms differ in size: Aladdin Theater holds 620, while Wonder Ballroom's open floor holds 778. Compare the concert dates listed for those rooms rather than assuming both will have a show on the same night. No fees for buyers.
