How to choose seats at Raleigh venues

The Martin Marietta Center includes three halls of different sizes and the Kennedy Theatre. Memorial Auditorium seats 2,277, Meymandi Concert Hall seats 1,587, and the Fletcher Opera Theater seats 600. Check which hall your event is in before comparing its seating chart.

Meymandi has a shoebox shape, a 65-foot ceiling, narrow sides, and shallow balconies. In the Fletcher Opera Theater, even the farthest balcony seat is less than 70 feet from the stage.

At Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, about half of the roughly 6,847 seats are under cover and the lawn is open air. At Red Hat Amphitheater, check the seating chart for your event rather than relying on the old layout: the venue is moving to a new site for 2027.

Lenovo Center changes shape by event, with listed capacities of 18,547 for hockey, 19,367 for NC State basketball, and 20,000 for concerts. Renovations that began in 2025 are being done over multiple summers, so check the map for your date. The Pour House is a standing-room venue with a listed capacity of 289.

When to buy Raleigh event tickets

Several teams and companies share Raleigh's calendar. The Carolina Hurricanes play at Lenovo Center and NC State men's basketball plays there too, so check both schedules when comparing arena dates. NC State football plays at Carter-Finley Stadium, while women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and wrestling use Reynolds Coliseum.

The North Carolina Symphony is based at Meymandi Concert Hall, while Carolina Ballet calls Fletcher Opera Theater home. Their performances use different halls within the Martin Marietta Center, so compare both the date and hall name.

The current Red Hat Amphitheater site is scheduled to finish its final season in late October 2026. The replacement venue one block south is scheduled to open in 2027. Check the venue location for your concert date. No fees for buyers.

Getting to Raleigh venues

The Martin Marietta Center asks guests to use the parking decks along Wilmington Street. The two lots in front of the center closed permanently because of construction of the Omni Raleigh Hotel. A drop-off lane on Lichtin Plaza is reached from South Street, and rideshare pickup is on Wilmington Street. The center also lists a closure of the exit ramp from westbound Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to northbound McDowell St. through December 31, 2026, and advises allowing extra travel time.

Lenovo Center is at 1400 Edwards Mill Road and has about 8,000 parking spaces. Its designated rideshare drop-off and pickup area is near TowneBank Center at Carter-Finley Stadium. Drivers enter through Gate C from Trinity Road.

Red Hat Amphitheater is moving one block south of its current downtown site for 2027. Its bag policy allows clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches and small clutches up to 6 by 9 inches. Walnut Creek is southeast of downtown near the I-40, US 64, and I-440 interchange. Carter-Finley Stadium is west of NC State's campus on Trinity Road.
