TixBit Oil & Chemicals Oy was founded in 2006 to act as a web commerce operator for oil product and equipment users. It imports, stockpiles and markets principally, oil area products, equipment and services aimed at the municipal, state, traffic, industry and household sectors. The company also markets additional oil area products such as Bitumen, liquefied petroleum gas equipment and chemical products. Furthermore, Titbit operates as an exterior goods trader for consumers and companies.
TixBit Oil & Chemicals Oy supplies clients with energy, oil area and other connected products and services. The company is responsible for its own part of the energy- and oil services in Finland and the development of connected peripheral equipment together with other Finnish companies, by bringing domestic innovation know-how into the market areas for the use of society. The company realises this business idea by operating responsibly, efficiently and productively with a quality target of always operating correctly.
The efficient and time-saving use of energy and the consideration of environmental factors in all its operations are an important part of TixBit Oil & Chemicals Oy’s energy strategy. The minimization of consumption waste, the development and modernizing of the lubricating service of energy-using machines and equipment plus keeping up with environmental and customer requirements, e.g. quarrying and crushing operations, are some of the company’s challenging starting points.
The main objects of the company and web commerce
The company’s main objective has been to develop a web shop on the Internet, supplying oil area products and equipment, which operates in the Finnish marketing area. The service is available in four different languages: Finnish, Swedish, English and Russian.
The Web shop’s objective is chiefly as an aid for district representatives in commerce, with the ease of the placement of orders increasing B-to B commerce between companies. Web shop payments occur by cash or by credit.
TixBit Oil & Chemicals Oy’s web shop is in main part, a retailers shopping channel for oil products. To other companies, it’s also an acquisition channel for oil area equipment and products. The company gets issued a web magazine, at least once a month, which is undertaken by an outside professional.
An Additional objective is the further development and production of e.g. work machinery directed at operators and contractors, a complete machinery oil service run together with repair shops, a proper wireless distance supervision of machinery and the supervision of oil quality by Shell e-Quip methods.
Servicing is realised through a network, by uniting companies’ information systems and improving the ability to operate efficiently in the diverse customer field. TixBit Oil & Chemicals Oy cooperates with machinery servicing companies, whereupon the companies receive training, marketing support, necessary data processing solutions to aid business operation planning, technically high-grade Shell Eco Oiler oil-change equipment as a result of product development and tens of new customers annually as the service becomes more effective.
Another additional aim is the development of wireless distance supervision for the surface of oil and fluid containers, combined automatically with a real time ordering system and the minimization of environmental damage.
